Children's Ministry

children
Have you got children that you would like to bring to church? You are very welcome to see what we do at St Patrick's! Our aim is to make sure every child can be themselves whilst learning about Jesus in a safe and welcoming environment. All our volunteers are appointed through an application process, are DBS checked and have first aid and safeguarding training.

Sunday Activities

Children, youth and adults alike join together for a lively (and sometimes noisy!) first 15 minutes each morning service. After that, there are separate activities laid on for those aged up to 14, which run until 11.45am (when the service finishes too). These activities are a fun-filled opportunity for the children to learn more about Jesus. There is no need to book beforehand, just turn up to one of our morning services.

Please do not worry about the behaviour of your children, we want them to enjoy church in the best way they can. There's plenty of time for quiet once they've gone to their groups!

If you're coming to the 4pm service, the same four age groups run during the sermon. The very young children stay in the main service for 15 minutes, with the older children (Gospel Rock age and upwards) staying in for an extra song and a short and interactive teaching slot with the adults.

Creche (age 0-3)

Creche runs throughout every morning service (including family services) in the side-room off the church hall. It's staffed throughout, so you can leave your child with the creche team, or stay with them for a while if you prefer. There's an audio link to the church so you can still hear what's going on during the service.
